Software Process

A well-defined and successfully implemented software process is the key for successful and controllable software development. SYNERVA provides extensive experiences in the area of definition and introduction of software processes. SYNERVA's expertise ranges from the stringent definition of software development process in the area of security-critical, certified software systems to the definition of highly customized processes for smaller companies.

An important aspect of a structured software development process is the optimal support through software tools. As an example consider code management or issue tracking systems (i.e. source code repositories, ticket handling systems, project management software, etc.). SYNERVA provides its customers in the definition of a customized software process based on the customer's needs and requirements. In addition, SYNERVA supports the customer in the evaluation, introduction and adaptation of the different software tools which are used within the software development process. The training of the team members and the introduction of a well-defined software process are also part of SYNERVA's services in this area.

As one of very few companies in Europe, SYNERVA facilitated different large aeronautical projects which have been certified according to different standards in the field of software in security-critical areas of aviation (airborne and ground systems).
